| Wednesday 10th July saw the annual Les Beardmore Memorial Golf Trophy played at Straining Hall Golf Club Blackpool. | |
| This annual event is organised by Blackpool Lodge No 1476 (Craft) and as the late V W Bro Kevan Beardmore was also a member of Blackpool Lodge W. Bro John Forster, Special Rep, suggested that Mark Brethren support the event. |

| It was decided that the proceed should be split between Blackpool Lodge and Fylde Mark, the latter being donated to the restoration of the Lodge room where Fydle Mark holds it's meetings. John Forster has arrange that this project will by supported by Fylde Mark in memory of V W Bro Kevan. | |
| It was a wonderfully sunny day and 35 golfers turned out in some style, many in shorts to combat the heat and played 18 holes of stableford golf for the magnificent trophy. The winning score of 41 points was posted by Mr Darren Reader a guest of Bro Graham Oglesby, who is due to be advanced into Fylde Mark in the next masonic season. | |
| Dinner was followed by the prize giving and then a raffle was held, the prizes being a bottle of Scotch and a bottle of Port both of which had been donated by W. Bro Doug Little who although unable to attend wished to offer his support. The raffle raised £350.00 which will be split equally between both Lodges. | |
| The day was organised by W. Bro Brendan Fenton a member of both Lodges so put this event in your diaries for next year!! (date will be posted on the website in the future) |

| Unfortunately there are no photograhs due to a malfunction of the photographic equipment (or operator??) but be assured a good day was had by all. | |
A further event in support of the restoration project
is being held. " A Brunch". Come along and have a late Breakfast or an early Lunch at Braithwaite Manor, Mythop Rd, Blackpool. FY4 4UZ on 11th August starting 11 am |
